The Forge Network

Forge Youth, Forge Kids, Forge Families

The Forge network has two aspects. The local work of Forge Network exists to reach the 125,000 young people (0-19) of the city of Sheffield and their families with the love, hope and good news of God. The national part of the network seeks to equip, develop and support youth and kids work throughout the country through coaching, leaders training and resources.

The local expression of Forge is a network of three overlapping circles of work Forge Youth (10-19), Forge Kids (0-11) and Forge Families (everyone in a family!).

These three circles have multiple expressions spread out throughout Sheffield reaching young people and their families using creating new models and ideas.  We work together in unity to see God really and truly breaking through to every generation in every neighborhood!

Rich Atkinson heads up this team and is married to Lizzie and they live in Sheffield and go to St Thomas church Philadelphia.  Rich leads The Forge network …  a network of youth, kids and families ministry working with over 1200 young people a week and is committed to reaching the 125,000 young people of Sheffield as well as serving the local church across the nation.  Rich also heads up all things young adults as part of the senior leadership team at St Thomas’ Church Philadelphia (www.sttomsyoungadults.com).
